Indian Hills Pancake Breakfast & Auction September 27th

Thank you for visiting EatMorePancakes.com. We are sorry to report that due to the will of certain members of the PTO, this Website will not be implemented into the Indian Hills Pancake Breakfast & Auction as some of us had hoped. An explanation of this is detailed at greater length below. If you wish to contribute, we encourage you to make contact with Indian Hills Elementary.

Some say it is time for improvements in Indian Hills PTO!

During a PTO meeting on 2 September in the locked-down library at Indian Hills Elementary, two of the Pancake Breakfast and Auction Co-Chairs enthusiastically resigned. Others are discussing how to make improvements to what they call a fouled system of corruption and petty politics that has been placed above children's interests.

Following exhaustive efforts on the part of the resigned Co-Chairs, along with earnest community supporters of the event, some are left feeling forced to make tough decisions as to their children's best interests.

During this meeting, much light has been shed on the methods and inner workings of the Indian Hills PTO. In the coming days, we will offer discussions of our findings, and the opinions reached by those in attendance, and other people implicitly excluded from attendance at the meeting. We will also discuss proposed solutions to troubles existing within the Indian Hills PTO, and how a handful of responsible citizens have chosen to assist with the children's interests outside of this failing system. These discussions will include what we have learned about the PTO's past and present challenges with regard to recruitment of new people, and how new members have historically been treated.

Many concerned citizens and parents were disallowed the opportunity of giving their evidence of failures on the part of the PTO, or to share their ideas for improvements. They were disallowed attendance to the meeting and dismissed from the library as was enforced by present PTO President Shelly Keller. In addition to supporters of improvements from within the PTO fundraising committee, disappointed citizens who were disallowed having their opinions and experience heard have expressed great concern at what they encountered.

Indian Hills Principal George Huckabee declined invitations to attend the meeting.

It has been concluded by some that it is time for a new method of fundraising leadership. Some of the declined attendees have discussed possible future involvement as community leaders to provide benefit to the children of Indian Hills Elementary as an independent group outside of the PTO.
